Public Health & Fire Protection System Design Engineer
We are currently looking for technically competent and experienced engineers with a passion for water conservation and an interest in sustainability. You should be capable of: designing and sizing most PH/FP engineering systems; proficient written English to the standard for report writing; proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel, and some AutoCAD ability; experience with PH related design simulation software would be advantageous.Further to this, candidates should have an in depth knowledge of sustainable drainage techniques, recycling and treatment and water efficient supply. Knowledge of mechanical and biological treatment systems, energy from waste and infrastructure for arid climates is preferred. The successful candidate will develop innovative sustainable water strategies for international projects, infrastructure masterplans and for smaller scale projects to meet benchmark standards, such as BREEAM, CSH, LEED and Estidama.
An engineering degree in this or a related field would be advantageous though not essential.
Office administrator
This is a permanent, full time position (40 h/wk) to start as soon as possible. The role is that of an office administrator, and you would be expected to take an active role in all aspects of the organisation of our 40 person office. These duties will include, but are not limited to: management of key staff calendars, client liaison, arranging national and international travel, corresponding with suppliers, and helping to co-ordinate bids and tenders. This role would also include book-keeping duties such as: maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, collecting data for VAT returns, internal auditing, preparation of invoices, and credit control. Prior experience as an office/manager/book-keeper is advantageous.
