Seattle Civic Square
Foster and Partners’ competition winning design for the redevelopment of Seattle’s new Civic Square was unveiled in September. today. The project will complete the ten year reinvigoration of the south downtown area with a public plaza and amphitheatre. The scheme also features a landmark 400ft tower as a LEED certified and sustainabilty exemplar project for Seattle.
Supported by the work of pha consult, stormwater management will be a main feature of the development with rivelets, cascades and fountains animating the entrance to the square.
