A sustainable masterplan addresses environmental, social and economic issues at a site-wide scale. We work with urban designers to create better places to live and work, where communities can reduce their environmental footprint. Acting as project sustainability champions we provide input and feedback to the design team, using international best practice standards such as LEED ND and One Planet Living to set appropriate targets.

We have developed analytical tools and techniques to optimise building massing, orientation and form in response to sunlight, daylight, wind and renewable energy resources. Buildings that are constructed to site-specific sustainable design guidelines can then harness the masterplan context to achieve the highest levels of performance.
